Sharing FIRST in the community
Danforth Plant Science Center
For the second time in a row, we represented FIRST in Missouri at the Danforth Plant Science Center where we gave live FLL and FTC demonstrations to over 300 kids. We brought our competitive robot for the kids to interact with.
Victory Raceway
Our team visited Victory Raceway where we were able to collaborate and teach kids coding and engerning skills through various
Girl Scouts Badge Workshop
Our team helped Girl Scouts earn their robotics badges for coding, engineering, and prestentian. We coached them through various STEM actives and helped them build their robot while encouraging them to use their imagination and work as a team.
Magic House Camps
We went to a Magic House summer camp for the 3rd time to demonstrate robotics to the kids. At one station the kids learned about our robot, another had the kids build a robot with Tetrix Prime.
Passigla
We had the opportunity to showcase our robot, play an interactive programming game, and hands on robot activities. We reached over 385 kids at Passiglas Fall Fest.
Team Angola
We have had the opportunity to participate in FIRST Global for three years now. This year, we are mentoring Team Angola to help them have a successful FIRST season. We’ve taught them essential skills in mechanical engineering, programming, and outreach, equipping them for their journey in FIRST.
